The Land of the Rising Sun

Publishing my first photo book is a milestone I’ve dreamed of for years, and I’m so grateful to finally share it with you.

Japan has fascinated me for as long as I can remember - the contrast of neon-lit streets and quiet temples, the way history and innovation sit side by side, and the moments of stillness found even in the busiest cities.

This book is a reflection of a journey that changed me. Through my lens, I’ve tried to capture the essence of a country that left a lasting impression - the pulsing energy of Tokyo, the timeless beauty of Kyoto’s shrines, the vibrant streets of Osaka, and the quiet serenity of Miyajima. Every image is a memory, a fleeting moment and a piece of the story that shaped this project.

The Land of the Rising Sun is more than just a collection of images. It’s a visual journal of the places and moments that filled me with wonder - an invitation to experience Japan through my eyes, and to step into the moments that inspired me to create this book in the first place.

This is my first self-published project - created independently, small batch printed in the UK, and available in a limited first edition. Every copy is made with care, and every order supports my continued journey as a visual storyteller.
