Threads Beauty Lashes* | Review

False lashes aren't everyones cup of tea and they can be so difficult to get right sometimes! I've never been amazing with falsies but recently, I've been getting more into wearing them and in personal experience, I've found that either the strips are too long and have to be cut down to size, the lashes themselves are super heavy on the eyes or the glue that comes with the kit isn't great, so usually when I find a pair that I absolutely love (which you guys know are my beloved Ardell Demi Wispies or my Red Cherry Lashes), those are the ones I stick to.

Recently, I was contacted by Harvey Nichols, on behalf of a brand within their store called Threads, who specialise in threading, as well as lash and brow products, asking if I would be interesting in trying out their new line of false lashes, and they looked so amazing that I couldn't say no!

Threads have recently launched a new lash and brow line, which consists of their Angel Lashes Collection, The new collection has a variety of lashes with in 9 different styles, from natural to dramatic and everything in between, and all sets come with full instructions as well as latex and fragrance free glue, which dries quickly to an invisible finish.

I was kindly sent two sets to try; the Sex Kitten & the Charleston lashes.

The Sex Kitten set gives you lashes for days! They add a lot of oomph and are definitely a more dramatic lash. These are very full lashes which feather and widen at the outer corners, so they draw a lot of attention to your eyes. I'm not going to lie, in the packaging, the Sex Kitten lashes looked a little bit scary because I much prefer a more wispy lash, but once I tried them on, I was pleasantly surprised! These lashes give you a lot of va-va-voom (keep an eye out for them on my instagram

The Charleston lashes are on the other side of the spectrum; they're a lot more subtle than the Sex Kitten, but they give you a lot of definition and are really glamorous. What I love about the Charleston is the fact they have a really natural shape, but still accentuate your eyes, which makes them perfect for daytime and evening looks. This set really reminds me of my favourite Red Cherry Lashes in #213, and are definitely something I would reach for time and time again.

Overall, both of the lashes are super comfortable to wear and they also feel surprisingly light on the eyes, which I was so happy about, especially with the Sex Kitten lashes which are a little more out of my comfort zone. The lashes retail at £9 but the quality feels amazing and I can definitely see myself reusing them a few times. They are available in store at Harvey Nichols, London as well as online at and will soon be available on

Have you tried out Threads Lashes? What were your thoughts?

  1. You're completely right in saying Falsies are hard to get right, I've always wanted to wear a pair but there literally are so many out there, I'm not quite sure where to begin lol. I'll Definitley have a google into these and maybe by Friday, I'll go to uni with my eyelashes on fleek haha ♥

  2. If you are looking for lashes to experiment with, I'd definitely go for something like the Red Cherry Lashes first! The Threads Beauty Lashes are amazing, but if you're playing around with lashes for the first time, £9 a pop can be quite a lot! I really love the Red Cherry Lashes - they're cheap, cheerful and actually really good quality! My faves are the Demi Wispies and the 213s <3
